ABSTRACT A recent report by the Latin American Representation details the opinions and experiences of stakeholders involved in responses to the three diseases in the region. The report identifies COVID-19, weak political commitments, and low domestic investments as significant barriers to ending the three diseases. It also provides recommendations to the Global Fund on how to support the region better.

ABSTRACT The Regional Center for Technical Assistance, host of the Regional Communication and Coordination Platform in Latin America and the Caribbean, organized a two-day “closing” meeting in Bogota, Colombia. One of the highlights of the meeting was the presentation of the results from three studies on technical assistance provided to CSOs in three countries: Bolivia, Dominican Republic and El Salvador.

ABSTRACT In Latin America and the Caribbean, the Regional Center for Technical Assistance has produced a strategy to support civil society organizations and community groups to plan for sustainability of their outreach strategies to control HIV, TB and malaria.
