COUNTRIES SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXIT FROM THE GLOBAL FUND ADDITIONAL SAFEGUARD POLICY

ABSTRACT In addition to publishing the principles and application of the Additional Safeguard Policy, the Global Fund needs to publish its performance indicators including the required capacity building, exit strategy, and the time period within which those goals should be achieved. The Secretariat and the country need to agree on the requirements that would make the withdrawal of the Additional Safeguard Policy possible, as well the measures that would prevent a recurrence of infringements.
