FIGHT FOR WHAT COUNTS! AND THE PEOPLE OF MALI ARE WORTH IT!
ABSTRACT The Global Fund is a major health actor in fragile countries, which gives it a responsibility to act as close as possible to populations in extremis, even in areas of instability where only humanitarian actors are present. At a time when funding requests for the next cycle are soon going to be developed, it is important to question the modus operandi for reaching these unstable areas and to strengthen our partnership with humanitarian actors. Mali, which has benefited from this partnership since 2021, is a good example to learn from, including discussing other types of implementation arrangements, more flexible and adapted to population needs in areas where public services are no longer available.
