RÉSUMÉ Cet article passe en revue les décisions financières prises par le Conseil d'Administration lors de sa réunion du 16 novembre 2022. Les documents du Conseil d'Administration sont importants mais ne sont pas faciles à lire. Cet article tente d'en fournir un résumé simplifié. Le message clé est que l'allocation finale pour les pays pour la période d'allocation 2023-2025 s'élève à 13,168 milliards de dollars, soit 3,3 % de plus que pour la période 2020-2023. Des temps difficiles nous attendent, mais les comités du Conseil et le Secrétariat ont travaillé dur pour élaborer un plan de travail et des budgets qui maximiseront l'utilisation des ressources disponibles.

RÉSUMÉ Le budget de fonctionnement du Fonds mondial pour 2022 a été présenté et approuvé par le Conseil d’administration. Il n'y a ni surprise ni réel sujet de préoccupation, mais si l’on étudie les documents concernés de plus près, on y trouve quelques incohérences et des explications opaques.

ABSTRACT The Global Fund Secretariat presented its update on country funding to the 46th Board meeting just held in early November. As of 20 October 2021, 186 out of 200 Funding Requests reviewed in Windows 1-6 had been recommended for grant-making.

RÉSUMÉ Deux groupes constitutifs représentants les pays d'Afrique de l'Ouest et du Centre, ainsi que l'Afrique Australe et orientale se sont réunies pendant deux jours, du 31 octobre au 1er novembre 2016 à Kigali, au Rwanda, pour préparer la 36e réunion du Conseil du Fonds mondial. Ils ont discuté des questions émergentes concernant la capacité d'absorption et le fonctionnement actuel des ICN.

RÉSUMÉ Le Fonds mondial tente de faire face à la tempête monétaire, aux nouvelles restrictions mises en place dans le secteur bancaire international et à des besoins financiers supplémentaires en raison d’une durée des subventions plus courte. D'après ce qu'on a pu entendre pendant la 33e réunion du Conseil d'administration, aucun choc extérieur n'a jusqu'à présent provoqué d'interruption dans les programmes.
