ABSTRACT A new report published by Aidspan suggests that countries may not be using data optimally to inform grant implementation. The study, which aimed to assess flows of grant information and measurement of grant performance, also suggests that the Global Fund offers countries the flexibility to select performance indicators that are in line with the countries’ own strategic plans as well as with the Global Fund’s objectives.

ABSTRACT Launched by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), the I Speak Out Now! campaign is designed to encourage staff and grant implementers to denounce fraud, abuse and human rights violations in the programs it finances. This article outlines the campaign and the multimedia-online effort the Fund is engaging in to promote its visibility and effectiveness.

ABSTRACT As part of changes introduced under the Global Fund’s Better Grants for Improved Impact Project, disbursement decisions will be made annually and reporting will be done on a semi-annual basis.
