COVID-19: An endemic pandemic? What does that mean?

ABSTRACT Professor Alan Whiteside, who has researched and written on HIV since 1987, describes the alarming synergy between HIV and COVID-19. He notes that there is very little research looking at how the two diseases interact. He calls for more to be done in investigating the speed and extent of COVID-19’s spread and its impact and consequences regarding HIV.
