RÉSUMÉ Le Niger a réalisé des avancées importantes face au VIH, à la tuberculose et au paludisme dans un « contexte d’intervention difficile », mais le Bureau de l’Inspecteur général, dans son tout premier audit ordinaire des subventions du Fonds mondial à ce pays, a constaté des problèmes au niveau de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, de l’utilisation des données, et de la couverture, de la qualité et de la coordination de la supervision.

ABSTRACT Niger has made significant progress against HIV, TB and malaria in a ‘challenging operating environment’, but the Office of the Inspector General, in its first-ever routine audit of Niger’s Global Fund grants, found problems in the supply chain, in the use of data, and in the coverage, quality and coordination of supervision.

ABSTRACT The Global Fund Board recently approved a TB, an HIV and a malaria grant for Nepal, all of which have a civil society principal recipient: Save the Children Federation. The Technical Review Panel cited numerous strengths in the funding requests, including the fact that Nepal is on its way towards malaria elimination, and that the country is planning to assume 100% of ARV costs by 2020 and triple its financial commitments to the TB program. However, there are concerns that lack of progress on human rights could compromise the attainment of HIV diagnosis and care targets.

RÉSUMÉ Deux programmes soutenus par le Fonds mondial ont été suspendus en Tanzanie après que le gouvernement a entrepris de réviser les directives relatives aux services de lutte contre le VIH pour les populations clés et vulnérables. La révision des directives est perçue comme s’inscrivant dans le cadre d’une répression plus vaste de la communauté LGBT du pays.

ABSTRACT Two Global Fund–supported programs have been suspended in Tanzania after the government moved to revise guidelines for HIV services for key and vulnerable populations. The revision of the guidelines is seen as part of a broader crackdown on the country’s LGBT community.
