ABSTRACT Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, face-to-face events have had to be replaced by online ones. It is much harder to engage people virtually and maintain their interest from a television screen or computer monitor. Yet this is exactly what SwitchPoint does. In 2020, IntraHealth International’s SwitchPoint team launched a series of SwitchPoint Virtual Exchanges: online, creative, and highly interactive gatherings. SwitchPoint Exchange events have taken place in Ghana, Japan, Rwanda, and the US—and now they’re taking place online, engaging young people in global health and supported by Gavi, the Global Fund and IntraHealth.

RÉSUMÉ Dans un contexte français marqué par l’accueil de la Conférence de reconstitution du Fonds mondial, l’augmentation de l’aide publique au développement et la réorganisation des acteurs publics, n’est-il pas nécessaire de repenser le dispositif institutionnel en matière de santé mondiale, pour qu’il gagne en cohérence, en lisibilité́ et en efficacité́ ? Cet article fait la synthèse de la première table-ronde d’une conférence organisée par le think tank « Santé mondiale 2030 », présidé par Jean-François Delfraissy et Françoise Barré Sinoussi, en partenariat avec la Chaire Santé de Sciences Po, à Paris, le 5 juin 2019.

ABSTRACT The Working Group on Value for Money in Global Health, from the Center for Global Development, has prepared a draft report that contains recommendations on how the Global Fund can get “more health for the money.” The CGD is seeking feedback on the draft.
