Это - главный вывод согласно оценке, проведенной в рамках региональной программы "Снижение вреда работает - обеспечьте финансирование!" в шести странах региона: Беларуси, Грузии, Казахстане, Литве, Молдове и Таджикистане. ABSTRACT
An assessment conducted by the regional “Harm Reduction Works – Fund it!” program in six countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia found that harm reduction programs remain inadequate. None of the countries in the study met international guidelines for access to needle substitution programs and opioid substitution therapy.

The Global Fund today issued an unusual press release protesting the conviction and sentencing of two men in Malawi based on their sexual orientation. Such actions "undermine investment in HIV and AIDS" through driving sexual behaviour underground, said the Fund.
