THE GLOBAL FUND BOARD DISCUSSES THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS NEXT STRATEGY
ABSTRACT
The Board of the Global Fund discussed the timeline and key priorities for the development of its next strategy at its 44th Board meeting. The framework is planned for the second quarter of 2021. The strategy should focus on the Global Fund’s comparative advantages, such as maximizing impact while strengthening health and community systems and reinforcing partnerships while strengthening Global Health Security.

In its report to the Board, the Technical Evaluation Reference Group provides updates on two key initiatives: the TERG’s Strategic Review 2017 and the launch of prospective country evaluations.
