NEW AIDSPAN PAPER LOOKS AT COST PER NOTIFIED CASE IN HIGH BURDEN TB COUNTRIES

ABSTRACT Over the period 2010 – 2012, the Global Fund appears to have met almost 40% of total expenditure, as reported by the national Tuberculosis programmes in the 17 non BRICS high burden countries. The average total cost per notified case in these countries was $79, of which the Global Fund support averages out at $31 per case per year.
