THE RBM PARTNERSHIP TO END MALARIA HAS LAUNCHED ITS 2021-2025 STRATEGIC PLAN
ABSTRACT
The Roll Back Malaria (RBM) Partnership to End Malaria has recently launched its new strategic plan for 2021-2025. The new Strategy focuses on enhancing the quality of malaria programming, raising funding levels, and scaling up research and development for new malaria innovations.

ABSTRACT
According to the World Health Organization’s 2020 report on malaria, the global fight against malaria has made particularly significant progress over the past two decades. We discussed how we can continue to work towards eradicating malaria with Roberto Garcia (CEO Health Management Support Team) and Ben Rolfe (CEO Nascent Advisory and Former APLMA CEO), particularly through working with the private sector and civil society, who are key partners in a context where funding is tight and strategic approaches need to be revised.
MARKING WORLD MALARIA DAY AMID THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
ABSTRACT
World Malaria Day, the annual opportunity to highlight global efforts to control malaria, occurred on April 25, during a global peak in the COVID-19 pandemic. The commemoration was largely obscured by coronavirus-related activities and news. Experts say that COVID-19 may lead to higher than usual malaria death rates because of the shifts in countries’ public-health focus, to dealing with the coronavirus.
